Salomon S/Lab Genesis 2 Trail Running Shoe Black/Black/Fiery Red, Mens 5.0/Womens

What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the S/Lab Genesis 2 Trail Running Shoe on a long ultra training run through rocky, technical terrain, and the wider platform kept me feeling stable even as fatigue set in over the final miles.

The quickLACE system meant I could tighten things up on the fly without ever breaking stride."Salomon built the S/Lab Genesis 2 Trail Running Shoe for the runner who takes on rocky, technical terrain and long-distance adventures without backing off.

A reengineered contaGRIP outsole adds traction exactly when the footing gets sketchy, while the integrated activeCHASSIS enhances stability underfoot without sacrificing the comfort needed to keep moving over many hours.

A wider platform boosts ground contact by 23 percent, giving you real confidence when the trail turns loose or uneven.

optiFOAM2 midsole cushioning delivers a dynamic, responsive ride with real energy return, while a lighter Matryx Micro upper adds durability and breathability without extra weight.

An integrated gaiter keeps debris out over long miles, and a protective toecap paired with a medial protective pad guards against the kind of impacts that add up on rocky, technical descents.
