LEKI Makalu Cork Lite Compact Trekking Poles

The LEKI Makalu Cork Lite Compact trekking poles shape their grip from natural cork, molding to the hand over miles instead of staying rigid the way foam or rubber grips do.

A hollow-core design keeps the cork light while a built-in positive angle supports the wrist through repeated pole plants, so the hand doesn't fight the same angle all day.

Two basket sets come standard, a Trekking 2.

0 basket for dry trail use and a wider Tour basket for snow and soft ground, so one pair of poles covers three-season hiking and winter travel without a second purchase.

What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've hiked long, sweaty days on this cork grip and never felt my hand sliding the way it does on rubber once my palms are soaked.

The cork pulls moisture away instead of holding it against my skin, so the grip stays secure hours after a foam handle would've turned slick.".
