Altra Men's Lone Peak 9+ Trail Running Shoe in Dark Shadow - Size:

The Altra Lone Peak 9+ makes three targeted upgrades over the 9.

The midsole foam is lighter, the upper construction is more durable, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole outgrips MaxTrac on wet rock and loose terrain.

The wide FootShape toe box and zero-drop geometry carry over unchanged, so runners step into a more capable shoe without relearning the fit.

What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The Vibram Megagrip outsole is the reason I reach for the 9+ over the standard 9 on anything wet.

Roots, slick rock, and muddy switchbacks all feel planted where the MaxTrac version would start to slip.".
